He has many memorial sayings and quotes. Many of these have to do with self-reference, redundancy, etc., which makes them applicable to many areas of programming language theory and computation.

Many saying have been attributed to him that he did not actually say, but sound like something he would have said.

Note that the English word "perfect" is not the same is the Greek which means "complete" or "perfected" (but not necessarily without errors).
