The "Doxology" is a very short hymn by Englishman Thomas Ken (1674).

He faced many adversities when, because of his serious beliefs, he did not go along with what secular or religious authorities demanded that he do.

This short song is often sung as a praise to the glory of God. There are several slightly different melodies for the words.

It is also known by the first line "Praise God from whom all blessings flow".
