1. Song: Great is thy faithfulness
The hymn "Great is thy faithfulness" was written by American hymn writer and Methodist minister Thomas Chisholm (1866-1960) in 1923 about God's faithfulness throughout his lifetime. He was born in Franklin , KY, growing up on a farm.

The music is by William Runyan (1870-1957).
This is hymn #98 in the hymnal.

The song entered the public domain in 2019.

2. Title
The title of the hymn "Great is thy faithfulness" comes from Lamentations 3:23.

Billy Graham often used the song in his crusades. It is the university hymn of Cairn University near Philadelphia, PA.
