Revelation A hunt for a beast
by RS  admin@creationpie.com : 1024 x 640

1. Revelation A hunt for a beast
This double usage of the same word is similar to the idea that a hunted animal might be a "deer" (noun) and saying that one is going to "deer" (verb).

2. Beast and door
Consider the following word comparisons. Today, these words are pronounced in modern Greek such that they sound the same. However, in ancient Greece, there must have been some distinction in the way the vowels "η" and "υ" were pronounced.

3. The panther as an all-beast
The English word "pather" comes, through French, from the Latin word "panthere""panther" which is from the ancient Greek word "πάνθηρ""panther" and may be related to the Sanskrit word "पुण्डरीक" (pundanka) ≈ "tiger".

4. Romans 11:9
Verse routeRomans 11:9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: [kjv]
Verse routeπαγιδαθηρανσκανδαλον … [gnt]

A word sometimes translated as "trap" is the ancient Greek word "θήρα""hunting" or can be the result of a hunting trip.

One trick in a hunt is to use a split group of hunters where one group attempts to herd or move the prey into a target area while the other group waits for them to move into the "trap".

The same idea is present in deceptions that cause misinterpretations.
