A missionary and pastor that grew up at Saint Paul's is John. From high school and college in the 1980's, John married Danese, also from the church. The were missionaries in Russia, home schooling their children who went on to successful careers.
After moving back to the United States, John became a pastor out west.

3. Missionary work
After working for 10 years in the business world for various companies including Frito Lay, 3M, and GTE (now Verizon), John was called by God to full time ministry.
He attended seminary 1997 to 2000, then after graduation, John, his wife Danese, and their sons Jake and Jordan served the Lord for eight years in Samara, Russia where John taught Bible Exposition at Samara Center for Biblical Training.
4. Pastor
He moved with his family to Pueblo, CO in July 2009 to serve the Lord at New Life Bible Church. His passion is to make disciples for Jesus Christ in the context of the local church (Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 4:11-16, Colossians 1:28-29).
5. Pete Snyder: Navy veteran
Melvin Pete Snyder (1938-2021) attended SPUM for many years and did many things in the community.
Pete was a U.S. Navy veteran from 1958-1962, serving as an Electronics Technician on the guided missile cruiser, USS Galveston.
He was a member of Abraham C. Treichler Lodge #682, Elizabethtown, Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Shrine and National Sojourners.
One son, John, married Denise Rice and were missionaries to Russia for many years. He is currently a pastor out west.
6. Pete Snyder: Military banner
The banner is located next to the Giant Food Store parking lot at about where the gas pumps are located. In the summer, trees tend to block the view from the Giant parking lot.
