Revelation 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: [kjv]

The "sea" or "many" "waters" is the "sea" of "humanity" and often spoken of as "ethnics" or "heathen".

To "sit" is to "sit" as on a "chair" or "throne".

Revelation 17 ends after a discussion and hints about the "woman" and the "great" "city". Which "woman" as a "great" "city" in the "end times" controls the "kings" of the "earth"?

There is a "great" "king" and "city" mentioned in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5. There is also a "city" on a "mountain" that cannot be "hid" (in a bad sense) mentioned in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5. Might these be related?
