2 Corinthians 5:17-21 Reconciling the exchange of ideas on reconciliation
by RS  admin@creationpie.com : 1024 x 640

1. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 Reconciling the exchange of ideas on reconciliation
Paul talks of "reconciliation" in 2 Corinthians 5. At least that is what the KJV (King James Version) from the Latin Vulgate says. It appears that Paul is saying something other than what might be concluded.

The Greek word often translated with a meaning of "reconcile" is used only by Paul in the GNT (Greek New Testament) and once by Isaiah in the LXX (Septuagint).

It is not clear how the meaning is preserved when the modern psychology definition of "reconcile" is used for the meaning in the GNT.
