Yogi Berra (American professional baseball player and manager) was an American professional baseball player and manager who spent all but the last year or so with the New York Yankees. He has many memorial sayings and quotes. Many of these have to do with self-reference, redundancy, etc., which makes them applicable to many areas of programming language theory and computation.

Many saying have been attributed to him that he did not actually say, but sound like something he would have said.
