by RS  admin@creationpie.com : 1024 x 640

1. Verse 1
Our God, our Help in ages past,
our Hope for years to come,
our Shelter from the stormy blast,
and our eternal Home.

2. Psalm 90
Psalm 90 is a poetic verse about the creation of our dwelling place on earth and our days here.

Written in 1719, Isaac Watts paraphrased Psalm 90 as a basis for his hymn "Our God our help in ages past". John Wesley changed the first line from "Our God" to "O God" making the title and beginning line "O God our help in ages past".

A thousand ages in Thy sight
are like an ev'ning gone,

be Thou our Guide while life shall last,
