1. Time has not yet come
In the GNT (Greek New Testament), Jesus often says, "my time has not come". He is not going to the feast.

Then, all of a sudden, Jesus reverses direction. Jesus is in control the entire time.

2. Time is not yet come
During his ministry, Jesus says a number of times that his time has not yet come.

Jesus said he was not going to go.

Would Jesus change his mind? Yes. But why?

Then, he said he was going. It was time.

Why did this have to happen now, it this exact time? The Greek is the "fulfillment of the days".

In Jerusalem, there was a meeting. They did not want to take Jesus on a feast day - but that is what happened. Note as highlighted in the Middle English, the word "holiday" comes from "holy day".

Note: The word "congregation" means an "assembly" of people.

Jesus talks to Judas at the Last Supper. The Latin "intinxisset" is the origin of the word for the sacrament of "intinction". So one must be careful to "distinguish" between "extinction" and "intinction".

Jesus tells Judas to do it quickly - now.

This is the same Greek word, «ταχιον» or «ταχειον» that is used in Revelation and is translated there as "quickly" or "soon" - depending on your view of Revelation.

Jesus instituted the sacrament of communion at the Last Supper. The Greek word for "thanks" is «ευχαριστησας» from which we get the word "Eucharist".

This verse is the source of the words "New Testament". The Romans often used these verses as proof that Christians were cannibals and should be "eliminated".

17. Persecution
The Romans often used these verses as proof that Christians were cannibals and should be "eliminated".

The Romans discovered that Christians could be killed when the refused to swear a required oath of allegiance to the emperor. This reminds one of Daniel and the den of lions.
