John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. [kjv]
17:10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. [kjv]
Have you ever heard a pastor or someone else "
pray for the world"? What exactly might they mean? Might might Jesus have meant?
After the Last Supper, in the garden before the arrest, trial and crucification, Jesus prays. He specifically does not pray for the world but, rather, for those in the world who are of him.
