Words: παλινγενεσια παλινγενεσιας

This Greek word is, literally, "
born again". In John 3, the words are "
born from above".
In Titus 3:5-6, Paul appears to use the word for
"regeneration" in terms of the second birth. In Matthew, Jesus appears to use this word for the third birth (coming into being) or resurrection. This word is used only by Matthew in Matthew 19:28. The word "
resurrection", not appearing before Matthew 19:28, appears five times after.
