Greek: ο πιστευσας και βαπτισθεις σωθησεται ο δε απιστησας κατακριθησεται

The "
new" is not in the Greek. The "
tongues" means "
languages". One must make an assumption to have these "
tongues" be the same as at Pentecost. If so, is this statement a one-time prediction or a prediction for many times.
In Matthew Jesus relates how someone can "
cast out" "
demons" but not be acceptable for other reasons.

drink" idioms, figurative language, or something else? A purely physical interpretation does not appear to have meaning in reality.
