1. The bottom line on riches
The Bible talks about riches in many ways.
Verse routeMatthew 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. [kjv]

What does it take to make one "rich"? How can one define "rich".

2. Matthew 19:23
 All
KJV: Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Wycliffe: And Jhesus seide to hise disciplis, Y seie to you treuthe, for a riche man of hard schal entre in to the kyngdom of heuenes.

3. Matthew 19:24
 All
KJV: And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Note: There appears to be a pun by Jesus here that is somewhat approximated by the Greek into which the Aramaic saying was translated.

4. Matthew 19:25
 All
KJV: When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

5. Matthew 19:26
 All
KJV: But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Do you get the idea that without Jesus, this cannot be done? But with Jesus, it is possible.

6. 1 Timothy 6:10
 All
KJV: For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

7. Acts 3:6-7 Gold and silver
After the resurrection, a beggar in the temple expects money from Peter.

Verse routeActs 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. [kjv]
Verse route3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength. [kjv]
