1. A thousand years
This content is being developed.

2. Revelation 20:7
Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, [kjv]
και οταν τελεσθη τα χιλια ετη λυθησεται ο σατανας εκ της φυλακης αυτου [gnt]

What are the "thousand" "years"? Might these be code words?

What is the "prison"? Where is the "oblivion" or "forgetfulness"?

Are the "years" "expired" or "completed" (with a purpose)?

3. Scalability
We tell ourselves that what we can do once, we can also do twice and by induction we fool ourselves into believing that we can do it as many times as needed, but this is just not true! A factor of a thousand is already far beyond our powers of imagination. Edsger Dijkstra (computer scientist)

4. Song: O for a thousand tongues to sing
Psalms 35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. [kjv]
αγαλλιασαιντο και ευφρανθειησαν οι θελοντες την δικαιοσυνην μου και ειπατωσαν δια παντος μεγαλυνθητω ο κυριος οι θελοντες την ειρηνην του δουλου αυτου [lxx]
35:28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long. [kjv]
και η γλωσσα μου μελετησει την δικαιοσυνην σου ολην την ημεραν τον επαινον σου [lxx]

The hymn "O for a thousand tongues to sing" was written by Charles Wesley and is based on Psalm 35:28 The hymn title is based on the original 7th stanza of the 18 stanza poem.
"He wrote for Sunday, May 21, 1739—the first anniversary of his conversion on Pentecost Sunday, or Whitsunday as it was known then" (umcdiscpleship.org)

5. A thousand years
Thousand years and harlot eagles Lord and mistress Belly and wolves Thousand and belly

How long is a "thousand" "years"? This time period is mentioned 1 time in 2 Peter and 9 times in Revelation. The exact word appears 10 times in the LXX (Septuagint) and over 250 times in other forms in the LXX.

How much theology, books, etc., need to be reevaluated if there is an underlying meaning to "thousand" "years" that is not a literal "thousand" "years"?

9. Days and years
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. [kjv]
εν δε τουτο μη λανθανετω υμας αγαπητοι οτι μια ημερα παρα κυριω ως χιλια ετη και χιλια ετη ως ημερα μια [gnt]
… lateat … unus dies … mille anni … mille anni … dies unus [v]

It has been almost 2,000 years since Revelation was written. If the events have not happened yet, is that "soon".

Peter has something to say about time as viewed by man and as viewed by God.

God is eternal and outside of time and the constraints of time as we know it. The idea of "soon", as in a few days from God's point of view could be thousands of years from man's point of view.

Peter then indicates that God wants to provide enough time so that no one is without excuse.

10. Revelation 20:2,7 Thousand years
Revelation 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, [kjv]
και εκρατησεν τον δρακοντα  τον οφιν τον αρχαιον  ο οφιςο αρχαιος ος εστιν διαβολος και ο σατανας και εδησεν αυτον χιλια ετη [gnt]
20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, [kjv]
και οταν τελεσθη τα χιλια ετη λυθησεται ο σατανας εκ της φυλακης αυτου [gnt]

Thousand and belly Belly and wolves Stones and oblivion Thousand years and harlot eagles

What is the effect (books, theology, etc.) if the "thousand" "years" is a literal distractor? Jesus uses the Greek word often translated as "prison" as the "sanctuary" of the religious establishment where a "yoke" of "compulsion" is used to keep believers in line. There is another Greek word for what many people think of as a "prison".

Where does Jesus talk about the "belly"?

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. [kjv]
ιησους χριστος  χθες  εχθες και σημερον ο αυτος και εις τους αιωνας [gnt]
… hodie ipse … saecula [v]
… yistirdai… dai… into worldis. [wy]
… yesterdaye … daye … continueth for ever. [ty]
… gestern … heute … Ewigkeit. [lu]

Sign: We change. But God's Message is the same.Has God changed? Does God change? How would a God who is outside of time and space change? What about Jesus? If Jesus is God, would not the same reasoning apply?

The Latin word "hodie" ≈ "today" and is from "hoc" ≈ "this"and "die" ≈ "day".

Never put off till tomorrow, what you can do the day after tomorrow.
Mark Twain (Author and Humorist, alias Samuel Clemens)

In some older languages, the word originally meant the "other day" but eventually came to mean "yesterday". At one time, English had the words "yesternight" and "yesteryear". The word "yesternight" appears in the KJV (King James Version).

… lateat … unus dies … mille anni … mille anni … dies unus [v]

The Latin word "lateo" ≈ "hidden, concealed, escape notice" became translated as "ignorant".

This verse has the implication that God is outside of time and space as we know it. We should not let this thing "escape our notice". Peter used the same word a few verses earlier.

20. Strongs - year

Matthew 24:28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. [kjv]
οπου  γαρ   εαν η το πτωμα εκει συναχθησονται οι αετοι [gnt]

The literal meaning is that where there is a "dead body" there will soon be "birds" of prey or pray gathering.

The ancient Greek word "ἀετός" ≈ "eagle, vulture". In a figurative meaning, can the "birds" be located where the "body" is before the living "body" becomes a "dead body"? Can the "birds" participate or otherwise cause the living "body" to become a "dead body"?

Do the "birds" know where the "bodies" are "buried"?

The ancient Greek word "ἀετός" ≈ "eagle".

25. Eagles and vultures
The ancient Greek word "ἀετός" ≈ "eagle".

26. Internalize
SPQR
The play on words appears to be "together with the eagles" as in "collaborating with Rome". The "eagle" is a bird of prey and was a symbol of the Roman Empire (and following empires). Had the religious establishment conspired or worked with the Roman government for their own personal benefit (as a bird in the pecking order) and against the best interests of the people and God?

Rome often used the letters SPQR (Senatus Populusque Romanus) which means "The Roman Senate and People".

The "two birds sold (selling themselves) for a farthing" uses the Roman name for the coin and a play on words on the sound made by a bird.
