The idea of a "
catalyst", from the meaning of the Greek word, is that a "
catalyst" unbinds or loosens the chemical bonds that would otherwise inhibit the reaction from taking place.
The idea of catalysis was discovered and named by the British chemist Elizabeth Fulhame in her 1794 book
An Essay On Combustion with a View to a New Art of Dying and Painting. Some of her work is considered the foundation of (chemical-based) photography.
She stated that she did not think her work would be taken seriously due to her being a woman.

The word "loose" is that of "unconstrained" or "solve".
The two areas or places are "earth" and "heaven".

The word "
else" is used here for anything that is not a "
bind" and not a "
loose".
There are a lot of things that can be "
bound", "
loosed", and everything "
else". And this applies to many in the "
church".
For many reasons, what Jesus says appears to indicate that the Kingdom of Heaven, or kingdom of the air, coexists with the kingdom of the earth and "
suffers violence" or "
compulsion" by the "
oppressive" and "
evil" powers of the earth.

"prepare", not the same as in Malachi, has in it the Greek word used for "

extort" or "
rapture" while the word for "
force" is that of "
compulsion". In context, these verses provide a possible meaning of
"kingdom of heaven".

Put the Kingdom of God outside of space and time and (since the fall) includes the "tree of life". The creation is inside space and time.

The "flaming sword" is provided by Jesus who "throws" the "sword". The Holy Spirit provides the "flame".
