coin" are related. The progression appears to be from a pasture, to a distribution of sheep, to the rules for such distributions, to representations of such wealth as coins, etc.
Interestingly, the word that is translated as "
iniquity" in the
KJV (King James Version) is a negation of the Greek word for "
law" that is, literally, "
not law". Who might it be that are referred to in future end times prophecies as "
not law" or "
against the law"?

Jesus clearly states the two laws on which the law and the prophets hang in Mark 12:30-31 (and elsewhere).
Law/Pearl 1: Love God (and the rules of God).
Law/Pearl 2: Love your neighbor as yourself.
The religious establishment at the time of Jesus emphasized law 1, "Love your God", but ignored law 2, "Love your neighbor as yourself" rule. This is, literally, "against the law" (of God).
According to Jesus, both rules are needed. What happens if the religious establishment ignores "Love your God" and emphasizes only "Love your neighbor" and often leaves out "as yourself"? This is, literally, "against the law" (of God)

The English word
"iniquity" comes from the Middle English word
"iniquite" ≈ "evil, wickedness" which comes, through French, from the Latin word
"iniquitas" ≈ "inequality" which is from the Latin word
"iniquus" ≈ "unequal". An "
inequity" is something that is "
not equal".
This Latin word is often translated in the
KJV as "
iniquity" when the Greek word is, literally, "
against the law".

"destroyed" has a primary meaning of
"reside" as in
"making a residence". Did Paul actually
"destroy" the Jewish system of law? Did he
"reside" in that system?
The Greek word translated "
build" has the Greek word for "
house" in it. One should not "
build" a "
house" of those things again in another
similar form. Has the church "
rebuilt" parts of ritual and tradition to replace the Jewish system it replaced?
17. 1 Corinthians 14:33 Peace and confusion
The word
"peace" can be hard to define and is left for another time. Perhaps that can
"appease" you for the time being. Paul, in 1 Corinthians 14:33, contrasts
"peace" with
"confusion" as in

"not following the established rules" as in
"making one's own rules" could be used for the term
"lawlessness" - which in English can mean
"anarchy" or
"commotion" or
"confusion". However, there is a Greek word for this idea (and is associated with the opposite of
"peace" by Paul) in 1 Corinthians 14:33.

righteous" means to do what is "

God's righteousness is what is "right" by God's opinion. God's "law" is God's "opinion".
Man's righteousness is what is "right" by man's opinion. There are many men (and women) so man's righteousness depends on who is asked. Man's "law" is man's "opinion".

On Sophistic Refutations, Aristotle says that from ancient times, nature (truth) and law (opinion) are opposites and that justice goes with the law (opinion) but not with nature (truth).

Whenever Jesus, Paul, etc., use the word for
"righteousness" one must determine from context what is meant. There may be double meanings.

against the laws" of God will be gathered and thrown into the "
fire".

cold" due to the ignoring or going against the laws of God?

Roman" law.
The thief on the left had violated Roman law.
The thief on the right had violated Roman law.
Jesus in the middle had violated the religious establishment's contrived additions to God's Laws. Thus, Jesus was not "against the law" of God but was "numbered" as "against the law" by those who were actually "against the law" - the religious establishment.

This verse in Luke, written years later, uses the word being discussed in the normal sense. The context is "
human" or "
Roman" law. That is, he was among those who violated "
Roman" law.
In the first verse, Jesus says to "
sell" your "
garment" and "
buy" a "
sword".

In the Greek, the "
wicked" in the
KJV is that of "
against the law". In the trials of Jesus before the crucifixion, many laws were not followed by the religious establishment. Nicodemus brings this out in John.

The "
without law" is one literal meaning of the word being discussed.
If one "sins" and does not know the law (ignorance) one will still "perish".
If one knows the law and sins, one will also "perish".
Ignorance of the law is no excuse in any country. If it were, the laws would lose their effect, because it can always be pretended. Thomas Jefferson (American statesman, diplomat, scientist and 3rd President of the United States from 1801-1809) .
Such ignorance is sometimes called "
plausible deniability".

Righteousness has to do with doing what is right (before God and others) while lawlessness has to do with ignoring what is right (before God and others).
70. Malcolm Muggeridge
Malcolm Muggeridge (British broadcaster) was an English journalist. Attracted to communism he went to the Soviet Union in the 1930's and became disillusioned, having at close range witnessed the mass starvation of ten million people by Stalin. He became strongly anti-communist.

71. Inequity
Interestingly, many humanistic and/or socialist ideas (in theory, not practice) are based on the idea of everyone being equal such that wealth redistribution, etc., is needed. What this does, in effect, is undo all of the customary laws and rules for distribution of wealth and resources.
That is, what had been considered equitable and just is redefined. This appears to fit with the original English and Latin meaning of iniquity as unequal.

On Sophistic Refutations, Aristotle says that from ancient times, nature (truth) and law (opinion) are opposites and that justice goes with the law (opinion) but not with nature (truth).

"δικαιοσύνη" ≈ "righteousness, justice".
Whenever Jesus, Paul, etc., use the word for
"righteousness" one must determine from context what is meant. There may be double meanings.
