2. Sermon on the Mount connections
Here are some connections in the first verses of the Sermon on the Mount.
Jesus states these verses very carefully, as recorded by Matthew.
These verses have multiple meanings, at various levels, where all make sense.

4. Matthew 11:5-6 Verses
Jesus relates what should be told to John the Baptist (in prison).
Matthew 11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. [kjv]
Jesus then says that "
happy" is he who does not "
misinterpret" or "
entrap themselves" in Him.
11:6 And blessed is he, who soever shall not be offended in me. [kjv]
… blessid… sclaundrid … [wy]
… happy … offended … [ty]
Let us match up the first six Beatitudes (in order) with the six parts of Matthew 11:5 (reverse order) and then match the seventh Beatitude with Matthew 11:6.
5. Comparison summary
Here is a summary table of the comparison of the parts of Matthew 11:5 (reverse order) and Matthew 11:6 and the Beatitudes.

False life: 15:
You are the kingdom of heaven/air. If the kingdom is a false kingdom, how shall the kingdom be kingdomed, with "

2.
False truth: 14:
You are the light of the world. If the light is false light, how shall the light be lighted. with "

3.
False way: 13:
You are the salt of the earth. If the salt is false salt, how shall the salt be salted, with "

pigs).
Let us elaborate the "
negative consequences" of each verse for use as a
model.

11. The beggars hear the Good News
RC:
Ephesus. KP:
Sower and seed.
Matthew 11:5 … and the poor have the gospel preached to them. [kjv]
5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [kjv]
The Good news is preached. This is what you are to do.
5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. [kjv]
12. The dead are woken up
RC:
Smyrna. KP:
Weeds.
Matthew 11:5 … the dead are raised up, … [kjv]
5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. [kjv]
Various heresies (weeds) start to arise. Leaders pull out a (false light) candle to create (false) kingdoms and mountains and houses..
5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [kjv]
the candle candling a candle (opinion, glory)
the kingdom kingdoming a kingdom (opinion, glory)
13. The deaf hear with understanding
RC:
Pergamum. KP:
Mustard seed, tree, birds.
Matthew 11:5 … and the deaf hear, … [kjv]
5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. [kjv]
As the meek inherit the secular power of the earth in the fourth century, rivers of fish are attracted to the true light
and to the false light on the mountain in the sea of humanity.
5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. [kjv]
light a light (true or false)
14. The lepers are cleansed on the outside
RC:
Thyatira. KP:
Woman and leaven.
Matthew 11:5 … the lepers are cleansed, … [kjv]
5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. [kjv]
During this time, some "
fish", who become "
sheep", are
promoted as "
pigs" to be leaders and/or enforcers, to influence others, sometimes using physical force. These "
pigs" work for the "
birds".
5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. [kjv]
the salt salting the salt (reflexive) (good salt, bad salt)
the fruit/harvest fruiting/harvesting the fruit/harvest
15. The lame walk
RC:
Sardis. KP:
Treasure in a field.
Matthew 11:5 … and the lame walk, … [kjv]
5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. [kjv]
Leading up to and during the Reformation, the idea of "
mercy" becomes important. Those who have followed the basic principles, without being side-tracked as a "
bird" or "
pig", have a true reward in heaven. The "
birds" and "
pigs" lead the way in the "
persecution".
5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. [kjv]
[Separation of land animals: sheep and goats/pigs]
16. The blind see
RC:
Philadelphia. KP:
One pearl of great price.
Matthew 11:5 The blind receive their sight, … [kjv]
5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. [kjv]
During this time, persecution continues on the pure in heart as verbal and physical attacks. The "
fish" are mobilized to "
talk" and make innuendos, etc., against the "
sheep".
5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. [kjv]
[Separation of sea creatures: good and rotten (against the laws, misinterpret Jesus)]
17. Interpretation
RC:
Laodicea (apostate church). KP:
Harvest at the end of the age.
Jesus then says that
"happy" is he who does not
"misinterpret" or
"entrap themselves" in what Jesus says.
Matthew 11:6 And blessed is he, who soever shall not be offended in me. [kjv]
5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. [kjv]
Those who
"make" "peace" by "
compromise" are
"called" "
great" by the "
world" and are
"happy" with themselves. The
"persecution" continues by the "
pigs", having been initiated and supported by the "
birds" at the top.
5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. [kjv]
[No separation of the birds - those who deceive and use others for their own glory/opinion]
